Hi All,

Today’s top tip is how to turn your hallway into a useable home office space.

I recently did a shoot for Bisley office furniture and I was reminded of the amazing ‘multi drawer‘ design classic piece. The drawers we’re designed in the 1960’s and quickly became a staple in work spaces and home offices alike.

In the image above I decided to turn two multi-drawers into a hallway desk by placing a piece of timber over the top to bridge the two. (You could use anything from laminate, an off-cut of timber, marble, or anything large enough that you have lying around form a recent renovation.) These particular multi-drawers have an added plinth to the bottom to add height to the desk. You can also buy them without the plinth however so you can place them under your existing desk instead.

Who says you need a spare room at home to start a business? Just find any spare space and start from there.
