When you’re potting your plants this spring, you will no doubt put rocks or pebbles in the base of your pots for drainage.
Then what you’ll do is struggle to move your pot into position because it will be so heavy! Right?
What I’ve started doing is cutting my used plastic bottles into pieces and placing them in the lower third of each pot. That way, I am giving a waste item a second life and I don’t break my back every time I move my pots around the garden.
