Bringing the Outside In: Pamplona

Pamplona

Ah, Pamplona. What a beautiful place!

We trekked the Camino Trail (Camino de Santiago/the way of Saint James) earlier this year. The Camino Trail is traditionally a network of pilgrimage routes that stretch from France over the Pyrenees mountains and into Spain and onto Santiage de Compostela as the final destination. The whole thing is approximately 800kms, however, we only did 100kms of the route over 4 days.

We went in a group of 7 friends and started in Saint-jean-Pied-de-port in France (typically the beginning of the walk for most people) and ended in Pamplona in Spain and stayed mainly is hostels along the route.

It was one of the best things I’ve ever done and probably the most physically challenging (we didn’t train at all!) and we hope to go back next year and trek another 100kms. You need to put it on your bucket list if you can!

If you want to bring a bit of Pamplona into your place then check out the items above!
